El mejor pollo de playa! Es una increible opcion a domicilio tambien el pure de papa es increible y el pollo esta bien asado lo cual agradesco, la salsa jamaiquina picosa esta deliciosa tambien hay pollo frito el cual esta bueno pero no como el original sin duda un must en playa.

A Big Shout Out to the owners of Ferron's Restaurant !! Me & my family had our first visit to Ferron's Rest. I Loved the great taste of their Fried Chicken, the Ribs, and the plantains too. The atmosphere it's so friendly & welcoming to all :)) I am hoping to go back to Mexico and visit again Ferron's Jamaican Rest.

BEST JERK CHICKEN EVER! We visited Ferrons Jerk Chicken on March 25th 2020, we have been going to Mexico for MANY years, and in recent years we heard about Ferrons, we tried a couple of times on other holidays, only to find we unluckily went when they was closed, firstly as it was too early in the day as they open at 12:00 midday until 18:00, the next time on another holiday it was closed as Ferron was on vacation, so we was buzzing that we eventually got there and it was open, from the minute we walked in we felt the ambiance, and in no time at all we was greeted by ALBERTO our server, he quickly gave us our menu then began explaining the dishes, like how spicy they are, and that you can have the sauces separate from chicken, to explaining portion sizes which are Very Generous, the food arrived in very good time, and piping hot! the taste and quality, WOW! Really moist chicken, tasty and delicious!, the corn melted off the cob, the coleslaw was the best I have EVER eaten, the bread was soft n fresh, also available in Garlic option!, the fries were fantastic, the whole experience and taste sensation and service was FIRST CLASS all the way!, CANNOT FAULT ANYTHING!, only feedback I could offer to this most fantastic restaurant would be to possibly offer patties, and dumplings, but this is just my feedback! What else can I say about the perfect restaurant except that you look at the Tripadvisor ratings this place!!!! FERRONS JERK CHICKEN IS THE NUMBER ONE RESTAURANT IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN, take that in! NUMBER ONE! Out of 1,193 restaurants, that is no mean feat when you consider it’s smaller than the big restaurants in the town centre/5th Avenue area, and is off the beaten track from Playa Del Carmen, it’s an ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT! WE, Recommend FERRONS JERK CHICKEN to EVERYONE! remember this is out of town and costs $150-200 Mexican peso from main hotel resort area, which is nothing really most people tip this amount to there hotel waiter after eating in their hotel! we paid $200 Mexican peso from the Riu Tequila Hotel where we was staying, using the taxi’s outside the hotel, We got taxi there, then walked back to the hotel, to do this or to get back to 5th Avenue, when you leave FERRONS turn to road to right as you come out, turn right in that main road, then just stay on that road walking it’s around 18 blocks which are not big, just stay on that road pass I dart main highway then after around 5-8 blocks you will arrive at 5th Avenue on your right hand side there is a red/terracotta coloured gift shop on the corner! That’s 5th avenue turn right there! Walk along full length of 5th Avenue, you can then choose to shop on 5th, or get taxi back to your hotel if this is enough for you! Or like we did head to the ferry pier cut through Senior Frogs and walk along the beach back to your hotel we was staying at the Riu Tequila so we came off beach through the Riu Yucatan along the walkway to the Tequila, please note the beach has flags indicating which hotel you are passing when walking along the beach, best tip is walk along the waters edge the sands firm but not too hard and not impossibly soft to walk on, also the water lapping at your feet/ankles it nice and refreshing, all in all we walked 8.5 miles back from FERRONS! this is my first ever review, and it’s to tell you to make it a priority to visit the wonderful restuarant FERRONS JERK CHICKEN! Remember that name and pass it on FERRONS JERK CHICKEN!

Jerk chicken - delicious Great place with friendly welcoming staff. There’s A/C indoors or you can sit outside in the fresh air. Or you can get it to go. The jerk chicken is amazing. The 1/4 jerk chicken combo is $M99 and includes bread, corn and coleslaw. Delicious and highly recommended. They also do quite a good fried chicken. They also have jerk ribs which I will definitely try next time.
